Welcome to beeserene

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the beeserene mobile application ("App"). By using beeserene, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. What beeserene Is

beeserene is a wellness application designed to help users find calm and manage anxiety, stress, and low mood. The App provides calming tools, mood tracking, an AI coach, and self-help resources.

2. Important Disclaimer

beeserene is NOT a medical device, therapy, or replacement for professional mental health treatment. The App does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, thoughts of self-harm, or a medical emergency, please contact emergency services, a crisis helpline, or a qualified healthcare professional immediately.

The AI coach (Serene Coach) provides general wellness guidance based on cognitive-behavioural principles. It is not a licensed therapist and should not be relied upon for medical advice.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use beeserene. If you are under 18, you should have permission from a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

All content in beeserene — including text, graphics, audio, and software — is owned by beeserene or its licensors and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

Some content (such as videos) is provided by third parties including YouTube. Your use of this content is also subject to their respective terms of service.

7. Subscriptions and Payments

beeserene offers both free and premium (Serene+) features. Premium subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's terms.

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using beeserene, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Community Features

beeserene may offer community features that allow users to share content, support one another, and connect with others on similar journeys. By using these features, you agree to the following:

Community content is peer support shared by fellow users. It is NOT professional medical advice, therapy, or treatment. Do not rely on community content for medical decisions. Always consult qualified healthcare professionals for medical concerns.

beeserene reserves the right, but has no obligation, to monitor, edit, or remove any user-generated content at our sole discretion. We may remove content that violates these Terms, is harmful, or for any other reason without notice.

We may suspend or permanently ban users who violate community guidelines, at our sole discretion and without prior notice.

10.4 No Liability for User Content

beeserene does not endorse, verify, or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any user-generated content. We are not responsible for any content posted by users, including any errors, omissions, or any loss or damage resulting from the use of such content.

You understand and agree that you may be exposed to content that is inaccurate, offensive, or otherwise objectionable, and you agree to waive any legal or equitable rights you may have against beeserene with respect to such content.

10.5 Your Content

By posting content in the community, you grant beeserene a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display, and distribute your content within the App. You retain ownership of your content but acknowledge it may be viewed by other users.

You are solely responsible for any content you post. You represent that you have all necessary rights to post such content and that it does not infringe upon the rights of others.

10.6 Crisis Content

The community is NOT a crisis service. If you or someone else is in immediate danger or experiencing a mental health emergency, please contact emergency services (999/112/911) or a crisis helpline immediately. Do not use the community to seek emergency help.

beeserene is not responsible for monitoring the community for crisis situations and cannot guarantee any response to crisis content.

10.7 Anonymity

Community features may allow anonymous posting. However, we may retain internal records linking content to accounts for moderation and safety purposes. Complete anonymity cannot be guaranteed.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, beeserene and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.

We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless beeserene and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the App.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you through the App. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
